Is the boat hard to transport?

No, you simply unscrew 4 bolts and the outrigger detaches from the main hull.  After that the boat can be easily fit on the roof rack of your car.  When you get to the beach reinsert the four bolts and go paddling.

If I fall out of an Outrigger canoe is it hard to get back in?

Unlike a kayak an Outrigger canoe is very easy to re-enter if you fall out.  You simply place yourself between the outrigger and the main hull and get onto the back deck.  The crossbeams will assist you to get back up.  Then you put your feet into the footwell, slide back to the seat and resume paddling.

How many hours does the kit take to complete?

If you have no building experience, the boat can be built in approximately 90 man hours.

Does the kit come with a paddle?

The kit does not come with a paddle, but there are a number of quality outrigger paddle manufacturers such as Kialoa and Gillespie Paddles.

What water conditions can the Island Racer be paddled in?

The island racer can be paddled in large ocean waves, on flat rivers or anything in between. 

Does the boat have a sailing rig?
